Autumn’s Dawn offers personalized programming to assist high functioning young adults on the autism spectrum as they transition to life as an independent adult. Once accepted into Autumn’s Dawn, each client is assigned to an Educational Specialist who oversees and directs the transition plan. Each client’s programming is driven by their individual needs and the dreams they express in their Person Centered Plan (PCP). The goals derived from the PCP are broken down into small, actionable items. These Action Items are accomplished in one-to-one Life Management Time (LMT) and through seminars offered by Autumn’s Dawn. A portion of LMT each week takes place with the client’s Educational Specialist, but the majority of LMT is with a trained Life Coach. The client and the Life Coach work together at the Autumn’s Dawn Center, in the client’s home, and throughout the community.
